10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. - Nozomi Morgan - CEO of Michiki Morgan Worldwide. Her passion is to develop global leaders that are courageous, kind and want to do good in this world. She helps international organizations when they have a critical need to improve quality, performance, and profitability through building a culture of excellence beyond cultural differences. Earlier in her career, she was appointed to open the Japan office for a U.S. firm and she continued to lead international teams and projects for industry-leading global companies through complex situations such as merger and acquisitions. Her diverse international background -having lived in Asia, Europe and North America - gives her a wealth of experience and knowledge. Born and raised in Japan, she values integrity, professionalism, and respect, all core elements of her heritage. She is a regular contributor to Forbes.com and Huffington Post. She holds an MBA from Yale School of Management.
10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. - Darrell Matheny - HR Senior Director for Toto USA Inc. He will tag team with Nozomi and share some examples and experiences. Darrell’s history spans the complete Human Resources scope. He began his career in Tennessee with Angelica Uniform Group and has spent the last 20 years in Georgia; 5 years in the Auto Industry (Unisia Jecs) and over 15 years with the world’s largest manufacturer and distributor of the most technologically advanced plumbing products in the world, TOTO USA, Inc. He has vast experiences and knowledge in both Non-union and Union Environments, domestic and international companies.
11:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. - Jeffery Thompson - Partner - law offices of Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete LLP. He specializes in employment law and labor relations. Jeff has defended employers in state and federal court, as well as before the Department of Labor and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. He is also labor counsel to multiple professional and community organizations.”– He'll be speaking about HR law hot topics.
1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. - Kelli Easley - Chick-fil-A Employer Branding and Talent Marketing – Kelli is a graduate of the University of Georgia with an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management. Kelli led HR teams and served as a HR Business Partner in the specialty insurance industry. In her current role leading employer branding and talent marketing for the Chick-fil-A Support Center, she focuses on vision casting and strategy building to increase awareness of the company’s culture and career opportunities, all with the ultimate goal of attracting and selecting top talent. She will share about talent acquisition, recruitment and retention.
2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. - Mark Conklin, co-founder Wise Counsel Inc.- former Director of Leadership Development at Chick-fil-A Inc. – Mark dedicated 21 years to the strength and sustainability of the leadership pipeline of Chick-fil-A. Prior to his work developing servant leaders at Chick-fil-A, Mark was a leader in higher education for 8 years. He also served on active duty as a non-commissioned officer in the U.S. Army and was a Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Weapons Specialist for the United States Department of Defense. He graduated summa cum laude from Nyack College, holds a Masters of Divinity from Alliance Theological Seminary with a focus on marriage and family therapy and is a graduate of Harvard Business School. Mark is a frequent public speaker and will share from his wealth of experience and knowledge about servant leadership, leadership development and corporate culture.
